Getting on with being a single parent
Becoming a single parent is plain hard. It can leave you feeling overwhelmed (what an understatement!), alone, losing touch with friends and things that you valued in your life.
Your life gets turned upside down and it feels like there is no control over anything anymore.
I know. I started my journey as a single parent over 8 years ago when my husband passed away.
I went from a solid partnership raising three beautiful children, to a grieving widow, overwhelmed and at sea not knowing how to move myself forward. I wanted to be everything my children needed me to be, with their father now gone – but I didn’t know where to start.. From family time and supporting my children to earning and managing money, to getting simple repairs done on the house and car …
But I turned it around. It was a process and I want to share with you how I did it.
